I call this series of photos "Shots From the Hip." All of the photos were taken on Colfax Street in Denver and were taken with a new style of photography I've been practicing. I hold my camera in my hand at my side and take the picture from there. I'm working under the presumption that my subjects are unaware that their picture is being taken. It's difficult to aim but with some practice I'm starting to get the hang of it. I've been able to get some interesting candid shots this way.
